Hi,

please note that the commit deadline for 3.4.5-rc1 is postponed to
tomorrow (Tuesday), December 13, 2011.

It is one day later than it was originally planed. It is because the
release build machines are be busy with the delayed 3.5.0-beta1
release.

The branch libreoffice-3-4-5 is going to be created the day after. Only
commits with 3 reviewers will be allowed for that branch.

Don't forget to pull updated translations as well …

I did that this morning. Now I'm running a test build with all
languages. Then I'll push updates to git. Thanks for everybody who
worked on 3.4 translations. Many languages have made improvements
since 3.4.4. BTW 3.4.5 RC1 could be the final one, so probably I'll
not pull 3.4 translations again.

Best regards,
Andras

Ergo (latin for "so") we will never have a 3.4.x better translated version!!! I dislike it!!! :-(

This is because 3.4.5 is the last 3.4.x release (!!!) as you could verify here:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan#3.4_release

If I were you (!), I would have decided to integrate these last and better (3.4.x) translation files and use the already planned 3.4.5-RC2 (that will be the last 3.4.5 public build and moreover the last 3.4.x public build too and at all!!!) to fix always possible translation troubles.
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan/3.4#3.4.5_release

This is also to give a thank (!!!) to all people that have spent their time to improve them ("the translations"), isn't it? So that they don't feel themselves unuseful or that you (we!) have made fun (or a fool) of them! ;-)

Italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio wrote in his famous house (The "Vittoriale") in latin tongue: "memento audere semper" that is "[Always] remember to try" or, if you want something different, "[Always] remember to give a chance to something or someone"!!!
http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memento_audere_semper

However I know that stability is the "must have" for that release and that all efforts have to be put asap on 3.5.0 release, but Community have to be respected and gratified seriously, of course.
Keep attention not to make such a wrong step... ;-)

Have a nice eventing,

Carlo
