Hi all,
Would it be possible to have an extra dictionary extension
pre-distributed together with LibreOffice? The Danish project produced a
new thesaurus about 6 months ago but it has not yet been able to get it
pre-installed in OOo. It would be a real scoop for LibreOffice in
Denmark if we can get that delivered as part of the installation.

The extension is here:

Hi.

Would it be possible to parse this with MagicPO to ease the Norwegian
effort?

-Olav.

I'n not sure. The thesaurus consist of around 100.000 words with
connections like synonyms and sub concepts. Most of the content is a
gift from Copenhagen University et al. The question is, if the words can
be translated and the synonyms and sub concepts are still correct.

The extension is open source and we don't mind if you can re-use it. I
would suggest that you investigate if there are any research project
doing the same work in Norway.

Cheers,
Leif
