6.2 Calc Guide - chapters checked out some time ago

Having recently submitted the updated version of Chapter 12 (Calc Macros) for review, I looked in the Guide Status spreadsheet to check out another chapter for update. At first sight, there don’t appear to be any chapters needing update.

However Chapters 15 (Calc Online), 16 (Calculation Engine Threading), and 18 (Calc Functions) were all checked out by “DJ” (I guess that's Drew Jensen?) some time ago.

As I have some time free, is there anything I can do to help any of these three chapters move forward?

There are also two guides that need a second review.
CG6210-LinkingCalcData.odt and CG6214-CustomizingCalc.odt

I suggest that if there will be a major delay in producing Chapters 15
and/or 16, which are both new, that we release the book without them
and add them to the next iteration of the book.

I have added a new entry to the Guide Status spreadsheet to reflect that I've started working on Chapter 18 (Description of Functions).

The list of new and improved features in LO 6.x appears to have many impacts on the functions provided and so there may be many changes needed to this chapter. In the interests of progress, it's probably best to get these updates done.

If it turns out that these changes have already been implemented by DJ (who checked the file out some time ago), my time won't be wasted because the knowledge gained will put me in a good position to act as a reviewer of that file.

Do we in the Documentation Team have access to sufficient information to enable us to draft these two chapters?

I have some time this week to review. I am in Marietta and the local
servers seem to have some traffic issues with authentication on the server
for the folder. I suppose they need a vacation or holiday.

Perhaps, they will be cleaned and efficient on Monday of next week.
