GS6.0 Preface

I have now returned a fully reorganised and updated Preface to ODF
Authors:
https://www.odfauthors.org/libreoffice/english/getting-started/feedback-lo-6.0/gs6000-reorganised-preface/view

The main changes are:

  * I have applied an updated edition of Jean's previous 5.0 chapter
    template. Essentially it is the same except I have replaced the
    icons for Note, Tip and Caution with some that I feel are more
    appropriate. If there are no objections I will add this template to
    ODF Authors Resources for Contributors as the template to be used
    for all the LO6.0 guides.
  * We were contacted by one of our translators regarding the way
    contributors were given attribution for their work. Those the
    previous the Acknowledgements section of the Preface has been
    removed from page 7 and all contributors are now shown after the
    copyright notice.
  * The help menu information has been expanded.

If possible, please take a look at this revision and post any thoughts
or observations to this thread by Wednesday 14th. February, so that this
can be discussed at the next docs meeting.

Dave

Hi, Dave,

*) pics in this version seem to be left-aligned, everywhere else (and
probably also here they should be in this chapter) they are centered. At
least that's what OmegaT opens i

*) I suggest the newly added Help menu items description should be a
bulleted list (as elsewhere in the guide chapters), also the *‡* character
in the beginning of the line looks like a bullet, maybe should be
positioned after the bold command and superscripted, since also in the
official Help the elipsis (...) should be omitted if present in a menu
command/button; I am attaching a screenshot of suggested format, of
Slovenian translated text);

*) the list of Help menu items includes http(s) links that are hidden as
hyperlinks - that is great for pdfs, but useless for printed versions of
guides, so you will probably have to add the links to text as well or
delete the hyperlinks - at least that is the case in all other chapters and
books until now;

*) the "Using LibreOffice on Mac" subchapter is using generic "Mac" instead
of "macOS" in its title and text/table; a Mac can be an Apple computer
running also Windows or Linux, but here a Mac operating system is meant, I
suggest using macOS also in this chapter (that appears in all other
chapters);

*) Figure 1 text is in 12pt, should be 11pt as elswhere;

*) you mention/reference Table 1 in the text, but there is no Table 1
definition/text (table definition in other chapters precedes the table
itself, AFAICR);

Lp, m.
