Hello all
I am proposing that the documentation community get toghether in a
periodic Google hangout session, to make our collaboration more dynamic.
Sophie has kindly set a doodle agenda for this purpose, so everybosy can
set the prefered time spot for meeting.
Please visit
http://doodle.com/poll/f2bg26qs5eh4fc86
and mark the spots you desire.
The hangout will last for 1 hour maximum. I planned the first session
for May 4th, next wednesday. If wednesday is not good for some of you,
we will discuss if another weekday is better, but I'd like to keep May
4th as a kick-off session.
A pad is already set to minute our meeting:
http://pad.documentfoundation.org/p/documentation
It is important also to be connected to the #libreoffice-doc IRC channel
for immediate communcation, and the hangout session URL will be there or
sent to this list 5 minutes before the deadline.
In the first meeting, I'd like to discuss
- People to introduce themselves (name, skills,...)
- Existing issues and challenges of documenting LO
- Action items for different documentation fronts
+ The localhelp content issues
+ The Getting Started book for 5.1 and forthcomming 5.2
+ The modules guides update
+ Multimedia, new forms of documenting
- Periodicity and time of the documentation meeting
-_LibConf Brno documentation track
- Other
I hope this agenda is not too bold for our team. Please come to our
first meeting next wednesday May 4th.
Kind regards
