Mail merge, Page 107 directs to Chapter 11 ???
E-mails, Page 305 directs to chapter 11 ???
Is this another book I have to get?

When you say "directs" is the guide in electronic format?
You can get electronic versions from;
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Publications
and hopefully there is a more up-to-date version there.
Printed copies are more tricky and we might well not be able to help with
that. 
We do our best to be as perfect as possible but it's not always possible.
