Probably less of a problem than you thought. It's fairly easy to "revert" a page to a previous version.
Of course i never figured out how to do that but most people just seem to do a single-click to fix it. So, i tend to cheat by comparing old&new and then copy&paste the old bits to re-replace the changed bits. It's probably better to let someone else do the single-click fix tbh.
