I have uploaded this chapter, Getting Started with Base here:
I have made some changes in the order of the chapters. I have done a minor revision to what was chapter 1 of the Base Guide to fit it into the GS Guide. This chapter covers how to use the wizards to create a flat database.
My next project is to do a minor rewrite of what was the Getting Started with Base chapter to make it the Introductory chapter to the Base Guide. This one will cover using Design View for creating tables, forms, queries, and reports. This should not take a very long time since, some changes have already been made to this chapter with this in mind.
Both of these chapters are or will be verified against LibreOffice 4.0.x.
