Volunteering to Write and/or Edit

Good evening!

I'm a technical writer looking to help with the LibreOffice project.
Currently I'm writing policy and procedure manuals in California, and would
like to return to software work. Skills include organizing, writing, and
proofreading; however, I'm a newbie to LibreOffice itself. Please feel free
to contact me regarding any outstanding documentation needs.

Welcome! We have several projects going on.
The biggest is updating the user guides to v4.0, but we also have plans
for tutorials, how-tos, FAQs, blog posts, and other items.

Two good places to help you get oriented are:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Development
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Easy_hacks

Feel free to ask lots of questions, or suggest topics of particular interest to you.

I've started on the outstanding Extension FAQ headings, and have content in
an .odt file using the user guide template; the draft itself is as bare as
practical. Can I just directly post it here, or does it require special
access?

Thanks!

Hi
The Faq was being translated from the French one which is apparently excellent.  Would google translate be enough to give you healthy ideas for how to make progress?  I have FoxLingo, IM Translate and Quick Translate add-ons on my Firefox but it doesn't make me a better person
