Typos in Base guide - Chapter 1, BG3401, 13 Dec 2011

Not sure if these have since been caught, however they are current in the
published edition located in the wiki
<http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Publications> in both
the PDF and .ODT versions:

Page 8 Table 1: Friend Table - the entries for Spouse are 30/12/99, not
names
Page 8 Table 3: Spouse Table - the entries for Last name are again 30/12/99
and not names...
Page 10 Table 5: Sample spreadsheet entries - column B is (again) all
30/12/99 instead of Fruits, name of some fruit, another fruit.

Changes have been made in these 3 tables, and the chapter has been uploaded to the Base folder:

Hi
Ouch, sorry!

Is someone able to help John R find where to proof-read/review properly?
Most of the chapters on the wiki have had further updates in ODFAuthors
since being uploaded to the wiki

John R do you have an ODFAuthors account yet or did we miss that?

Working on getting the ODFAuthors account...have a lot to learn about editing this stuff so am lurking for now.

I think I am supposed to introduce myself here. My name is John Robertson. I am an OSX LibreOffice user who is trying to learn Base (etc.) for a particular application and kept running into problems with the documentation so I thought I'd help out a bit within my limited skill-set. I am not a formally trained technical writer although I do write tech support stuff for the arcade /business hobby (Pinball, video, etc.) and have been doing that since around 1996 online - previously I wrote a coin-op industry article published in 1986 relating to design flaws by a pinball manufacturer and how to cure them - I think I was waiting for the Internet...

My web site is http://www.flippers.com
