Base Handbook Chapter 4: Forms

Vollendet das ew'ge Werk! I have just uploaded this 71-page
translation to the drafts folder. It will need quite a lot of
reformatting by persons more knowledgeable than myself, as there are
big holes in it everywhere due to the fact that English takes up a lot
less room than German.

I understand that Robert is working on an English version of the
underlying database using field names that we agreed on, and this, when completed, can act as a basis for a new set of screenshots.

I am whacked!

Hello Hazel,

Vollendet das ew'ge Werk!

... nun lasst uns endlich ruhen.

I have now translated the first version, Media_without_Macros. I have
tested it a little bit. All forms start without any popup, also the
reports and the queries. When opening a report for editing there could
be some field-descriptions, which aren't translated at this time.
All Screenshots were made with this version, so we could begin to make
screenshots, if the translation seems to be correct. You could find the
database here:
http://robert.familiegrosskopf.de/lo_hb_en/Media_without_Macros.odb

There are some queries, views and tables, which aren't used by the forms
and by the reports. I will mark them as examples later.

Hi Hazel,

I have added the sceenshots to the chapter tabels. Could be there is
nothing to do with this chapter any more.
So I have been looking for the forms-chapter. Can't find it in the
drafts-folder. Could you give me a hint?

Regards

Robert
