Hi Gary,

However, I tried to switch between the two folders via the Edit command
but did not notice it having any effect.

Any ideas about this?
Possibly related to one or more of the currently known template
management bugs :

Is having two template paths something new in LO? One to a user folder,
the other to a shared folder.

It has ever been there. Only the technical realization has changed sometime around OOo2.0.

I seem to have observed both having the Edit command switch template
folders and having it fail to do so. So, I am not sure what is correct.

As Alexander wrote, likely one of the current bugs. Do you have an older OOo around, then try it there.

Kind regards
Regina
