Hello Dan It is the simplest method of deleting a table that does not work. That is, select a table on a slide and press the delete key. You can delete a table as follows: 1. Select all the rows and use the row delete icon on the table toolbar. 2. Click your mouse button and drag a marquee over the table to select it then press the delete key. 3. Insert a table using table design and then immediately press the delete key. Does not work if de-select the table and the re-select the table. 4. Use insert table and immediately press the delete key. Does not work if de-select the table and the re-select the table. Maybe I have found a fault with the Impress software when simply selecting a table and pressing the delete key. Does not work. Also there is no delete option in the Edit menu.
