So what do you want me to do?

OK, I have an Alfresco account and I know the docs are in the "repository". But what actually needs doing?

Please bear in mind that my skills are mainly in editing for style and good English, and also in proofreading, not in reviewing factual content.

Hi Hazel,

OK, I have an Alfresco account and I know the docs are in the "repository". But what actually needs doing?

Please bear in mind that my skills are mainly in editing for style and good English, and also in proofreading, not in reviewing factual content.

I am looking through the docs to see what we could usefully point you
at. I will post back shortly. And thanks for the offer of help.

Hi Hazel,

Well, for work of proofreading and editing for style, you could have a
look at the Linux installation guide here (you'll need to be logged-in
to Alfresco before you can access that link):

http://alfresco.libreoffice.org/share/proxy/alfresco/api/node/content/workspace/SpacesStore/adbb12d7-3935-43c3-86c4-3092b89a3cbe/LOinstallonLinuxb.odt?a=true

It's a document that has been worked on by me and then by other
people, and could almost certainly do with a good clean-up.

Other work we would have available would be rebranding documents and -
optionally - replacement of screenshots. For this I could point you at
various docs.

The rebranding work does not involve factual checking, just formatting
basically. We have a guide that would explain the approach for that,
Do you feel that might be within spec for you?

You could usefully have a look in the "Repository> English>

> Draft" section and read the re-branding

guide and the guide to producing documentation. Then you could
probably better assess what you feel able to take on.

Would that be OK?
