Detailed instructions for installing LibreOffice on Macintosh

Hi,

I'm currently working on the content of the upcoming libreoffice.org
website. Obviously, on the site, there are going to be detailed
installation instructions for our users.

I don't have a Macintosh, unfortunately, and I need detailed
instructions for installing LibreOffice on Mac, *also* covering
installation of a language pack

I also need to know whether it is necessary to de-install a previous
version of LibO (or of OOo) before installing a new version. If so, I
need detailed instructions on how to de-install an existing version.

Could one of you Mac users out there help me out with this? (I need to
finalize the content this weekend, so that we can roll-out the site.)

If you're able to provide screenshots, this would be a great optional
extra. in that case, please feel free to mail them to me directly.

A big thanks if so!

Wish I'd known you wanted screenshots before I installed it on this Mac.
I should have thought of that. If you really want them & no one else steps
up, I can reinstall & get them for you.

I should be able to write the basics up for you tomorrow. There's not much
to it; dead easy, really. But I don't know about installing a language pack,
having never done that. Maybe I'll give that a go & see what happens.

But not this evening. It's an hour past beer o'clock here!

Cheers, Hal

Hi Hal,

The instructions for basic installation and for the lang pack are what
matters most. Screenshots are an optional extra if you're up to it.
Thanks if so. If ever someone fixes me up before you do, I'll mail
you. If not, the offer will be gratefully accepted.

Enjoy!

Just written a response to you with complete installation instructions
for the Mac, but no screenshots I'm afraid
