Thank you all very much for all your comments and help with this project. I've posted the final version of our draft to the wiki at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/File:Guide_for_technical_writers-draft.odt. We hope this doc is a useful contribution to the LibreOffice community. Now that our school project is finished, feel free to expand or improve the content as you see fit or adapt it to other projects.
