This package does not seem to exist for Xubuntu 20.04 but the library is
there under /usr/lib:
./x86_64-linux-gnu/libxslt.so.1
./x86_64-linux-gnu/libxslt.so.1.1.34
.
I have tried various settings of LIBXSLT_CFLAGS and LIBXSLT_LIBS to try
to point config to this library but unsuccessful. Any help would be
appreciated.
You're missing the development package: libxslt1-dev
