Looks odd indeed. First thing that comes to mind: layouting continues
asynchronously after the load - perhaps a
Scheduler::ProcessEventsToIdle() helps. See uiwriter.cxx for a few
examples where that is used.
Other than that, all a bit speculative. Any code / patch yet to look
at?
