I tried to clone core but it failed, did I do something wrong.
$ git clone git://anongit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core libreoffice
Cloning into 'libreoffice'...

remote: aborting due to possible repository corruption on the remote side.
fatal: early EOF
fatal: index-pack failed
Good to know. I will check if this still happens.
However as a solution you can switch to the official repository at: git://
gerrit.libreoffice.org/core.git
The anongit.freedesktop.org repo is a mirror that helps us reduce the load
on our main git server.
