these directories are added like so in gbuild:
define gb_CObject__command_pattern
[...]
-c $(3) \
-I$(dir $(3)) \
[...]
so that just adds the directory the source cxx file everywhere, probably
the ide-integration can do the same.
bin/gbuild-to-ide:367 does that for compile_commands.json, maybe move
that code up to the generic part of gbuild-to-ide?
