I assume even 100 files will not take much time to test. This would also have the benefit that when a test fails, you can know what is to code to debug. (Closer to a real unit test, instead of the current integration-like test.)
Do you think there are more advantages than drawbacks? If yes, I'm ready to add these functions, but I want first to know if there is some benefit.
