1) Add OPTIONS method
==================
For OPTIONS method specification, please see:
<https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7231#section-4.3.7>
for general details.
<https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4918>
where the use of OPTIONS method is detailed for WebDAV.
Just a heads up that lots of ISPs in small countries have very dodgy
web-proxies which don't deal well with anything other than HEAD/GET/POST.
Often these proxies cannot be bypassed (they are so-called 'transparent'
proxies), so you need a fairly robust fallback mechanism.
the implementation I'm working on falls back to 'standard Web site' if
the http OPTIONS request returns an error, so enabling only the methods
you mentioned.
Probably I'll have to introduce a 'timed out' control if the proxy
silently ignores OPTIONS.
Thanks for pointing this out.
