I'll try to take a look later today, but for Windows issues, the
mailing list will be more useful :)
First thing to check: Are the -I and -L that are passed actually
used? (Look in firebird's config.log for the exact compilation line
used and/or do "cd external/firebird && make" which will be more
verbose than the top-level make).
