Hi.
Unless the project is selected with another student then you are more than welcome to work on it,
and I am sure there are developers willing to help you (including myself, though with limited
knowledge about the actual code).
In case the project is selected (sorry not to have the overview, maybe some of the mentors can help
me out here), then there are many open bugs, and surely some around the same theme.
