Hi,
Looking into tdf#49547 [1], I wonder which version of FontForge is supposed
or recommended to be used for producing extras/source/truetype/symbol/opens__.ttf
from OpenSymbol.sdf.
Thank you for your attention.

Last time I changed this font I generated a new one with whatever
version of FontForge I had, then dumped the new and old TTF files with
ttx and copied over only the tables I changed, then generated a new TTF
file from the ttx dump. This might be overly cautious though, but I just
wanted to avoid any unnecessary changes to the TTF file (as I don’t
generally trust FontForge not messing things up, especially the latest
versions).

Khaled
