Hi guys, 

Heads up (especially Jan!) I wrote a blog post the other day and my friend David Gerard posted it 
to Hacker News, where it hit the front page. 

I saw a golden opportunity to attract some new talent so I posted a comment referring folks to the 
#libreoffice-dev channel on Freenode. 

The *might* be an influx of newbies - just to give you a heads up!
