Hi Chris,
I just found an Excel 'feature' that is not yet in Calc's FORECAST.ETS functions, so I'll be busy
for some time again ;-)
OK, I’m interested :-) What is this ‘feature’?
Whilst comparing the argument constraints for the Excel FORECAST.ETS functions with the code I
currently have, I noticed that the 'Seasonality' argument has a value that makes Excel calculate
the length of the period (season). That was not yet in my code (it is now, but not yet tested), so
submitting to gerrit will be postponed a bit longer. Anyway I expect to be in time for the 5.2
release ;-)
I don't know what you meant with "I'm interested", but I do need someone with knowledge of the help
text code base to convert my function descriptions/specifications/constraints to the help text code base once
the functions are pushed. I am not familiar with that type of work.
Winfried
