5.0.0 fails build with old poppler 0.12

Hello,

I am building 5.0 betas on our openSUSE and while building it also for our
old SLE11 It suddenly fails compared to 4.4 series.

The version we have there is 0.12 which is supposed to work based on
configure.ac but fails as follows:

I will try to dig into it cca at the end of the next week, but maybe some
