so here just a short mail to answer your question from IRC:
THe OpenGL requirements are a bit complex:
Normally most code is written against OpenGL 2.1 (OpenGL transitions,
OpenGL canvas, vcl OpenGL, gltf). However chart OpenGL requires OpenGL 3.2.
vcl OpenGL also does not work on Mac yet and some of the others also
require some changes to fix problems with the Mac OpenGL versions.
In general you have the two options in LibreOffice right now: 2.1 legacy
context or 3.2 core context.
