Hello,
in the meantime I found out that http://extensions.libreoffice.org/ in
general doesn't seem to support the (automatic) update of extensions -
as I found out with wireshark listening to the communication between
LibreOffice (client) and the extension site (server) the LibreOffice
extension site provides no meaningful answer to the update query of the
client.
So if you want to support the automatic update feature for your
extension you have to provide your own <update-information> - section
in description.xml - this works well as I tested it right now.
cheers,
Bernhard

Hello,
it seems that the check for update-mechanism doesn't seem to work for
the following spell checker:
http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/uppsersorbian-spell-checker
I have locally installed version 2.02.05, version 2.02.06 is the
(only) version which is online. when I try to check for updates in the
extension manager it says that there is no update available.
In the description.xml stands either
<version value="2.02.05" />
or
<version value="2.02.06" />
Any hint?
thank you & best regards
Bernhard
