okay, I shall hang my head in shame and admit I didn't read the instructions
correctly (far easier to post than review your actions).

I issued a command "sudo yum-builddep libreofficeffice", didn't bother to
monitor what happened and just saw the "$" prompt.

I am now in a position to run the make.
