No, it was rather the root cause. Fixed now with <https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/gitweb?p=core.git;a=commit;h=9bd221abfb198fcdf51873e91201a2e717331ae0> "config.guess is apparently not supposed to be called directly." (And you apparently do not run into the problem when you already have a ~/libreoffice4.4_sdk/*/setsdkenv_unix.sh.)
But "make DocumentLoader.run" then still runs into a CannotActivateFactoryException; hold on...
