Actually, unit tests are run on Linux, too. Most of the developers use
Linux as their daily platform, so naturally unit tests are written
initially for Linux.

And it's much SLOWER!


Yes. You just need to improve your patience.

Any way to disable the build of unit tests?


That would be very counter-productive.
