Lionel Elie Mamane suggested  that due to some changes in the base code
the Windows Connector has to been recompiled against 4.1  ?

My understanding is that the connector should be recompiled with eachversion change in order to remain compatible with any other changesintroduced into the dbconnectivity code.

I beleive that datetime internal representation was also changed at sometime between 4.0 and 4.1.

So, yes, you probably need to recompile the connector for Windowsagainst the 4.1 source tree.
