Commit 24578b804007d8c3201e5ed32b8485e1725c33c1 fixes that. I would like

Oh nice!! That is a lovely fix, thanks - pushed to -4-0 and -3-6.
Just tested in a build from master: indeed great improvement!
Is also on the radar that copying single objects from one file to
another suffers from the same problem: i.e. style information is ignored?
(which AFAIR did work some ... time ago).
