anyway.. using
.SUFFIXES:
makes even bigger difference for me. Then it's the ~same as using make -r.
So, I suggest to do
-MAKEFLAGS+=-r
+.SUFFIXES:
in gbuild.mk
Oh, sure, go ahead. With these its best to measure impact though ;)
And sorry if the comment sounded too scary, I was just a bit frustrated with
the 'this used to work' experience.
