Help in git/branch

Hi

I chasing a build error and my initial question is related to branches
and master. I created a branch (vero3) in dictionaries/, cloned the
master and edited with my new code. However when building, I get errors.
For the time being I want to know if I am doing it right wrt to
branches/master. The following listing says it.
