Temporary work around is just to run:
unset LD_LIBRARY_PATH from terminal before building. Jeff over at Bodhi
seems to think it's most likely an issue with LXDM not with Bodhi. I can't
track down where the variable is being set, ultimately I want to track it
down but at least I have a successful build.

So where *is* that location then? Links like <https://bugs.launchpad.net/

"LD_LIBRARY_PATH not loading from .profile nor /etc/environment" indicate
that setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH in ~/.profile etc. is effectively ignored
(which is OK in our case, where we strive for an unset LD_LIBRARY_PATH),
but I'm still clueless what causes LD_LIBRARY_PATH to be set for you.
