Call autogen.sh with

  --with-junit=<absolute path to JUnit 4 jar>

(the default --with-junit=yes looks for it in a number of well-known places, /usr/share/java/junit4.jar etc.; easiest thing typically is to install the distro's junit package and we should find it automatically then).
