Yup, and you need to apply this patch

to resolve the link error with boost 1.50.

Actually you don't even need to upgrade the mdds package as long as you 
apply the above change.  Unfortunately even the latest mdds package 
doesn't contain the fix yet (unless you use one from the git master 
directly), but the next one will.
