solved my problem. Upgraded wine repo:

# cat /etc/zypp/repos.d/Emulators\:Wine.repo
[Emulators_Wine]
name=Wine (openSUSE_12.1)

baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Emulators:/Wine/openSUSE_12.1/ 
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Emulators:/Wine/openSUSE_12.1/repodata/repomd.xml.key 
enabled=1

and then
zypper ref ; zypper up
and all is fine.
