It's kind of catch-22.
I develop on Windows, but I do my LibreOffice work on Ubuntu running inside a VMWare image, simply because the Windows build was almost permanently broken. The LibreOffice Windows build seems to be more stable these days, but now I'm too lazy to change :-)
