So you'd be OK with, say, about 3 or 4 large commits that only touch the IDL files and the types.rdb file?

And then I can chew on the call-sites piecemeal.

Note that converting a service from old-style to new-style does not /require/ call sites to be adapted. It merely /allows/ to do so.
