Hallo,
I made a mistake, to commit before testing. Therefore are 2 patch-files.
Please, can anybody test this extension.
I think, that it is wrong. Currently we support only that function, that
is named LEGACY.FDIST in the spec. And that function has no forth
parameter. Our function FDIST in the UI is internally the function
LEGACY.FDIST and that is the right tail, cumulative function.
The spec uses FDIST (file format name) as name for the left tail kind,
and that function has the additional, optional forth parameter. OOo has
no implementation of the left tail kind, because if OOo3 would write
FDIST in the file format being the left tail version, OOo2.4 would
calculate it as right tail version. If LibreOffice wants to implement
FDIST (the left tail version) then a strategy for transition is needed.
This problem does not occur with the other functions, because the left
tail versions have got a file format name which is different from the
already existing right tail versions.
If you search in the OOo mailing lists, you should find a discussion
about the FDIST problem, but with no solution.
I would not touch the code at the moment.
Kind regards
Regina
