:-) I wouldn't object to this - as gnumake >=3.81 is a requirement
that has to be manually installed on Mac OSX 10.4/PPC, (as XCode 2.x
only comes with make 3.80)
you know you want to (TM) ... IMHO there are a few
nonsensical things that are done of utter pointlessness in there.
Getting rid of those will be an additional benefit.
