[Libreoffice] G5, can not save files

I still have an older iMAC G5 and have been using NeoOffice for years. When I made the move to LibreOffice on that computer it now crashes anytime you try to save a document to any location but the default causing mass loss of data. I dont know if this is a known issue or something new for you guys. If it is a known issue are their any work-arounds or patches in the mix I could try or grab. Thank you. Ray -- Raymond L.
