For the record, OONaksit is the font that is bundled with a fork of
OpenOffice.org 1.x (actually we have TWO forks of OpenOffice.org 1.x to
enable Thai CTL while OOo didn't support i18n yet). However, the two forks
were ended to promote single OpenOffice when OOo 2.0 CTL support was good
enough. Some patches from both forks went into OOo and that's why OONaksit
is there. But no one get OONaksit installed anymore so we decide to remove
it. We add some famous Thai fonts which are included in several Linux
distros. And for Thai fonts bundled in MacOSX only Thonburi is voted as good
enough. We decide to add TH_Sarabun which is not bundled in any platform but
is mandated as THE official font in government sector. And it is also the
only font that look good across the 3 platforms so including it help users
in mixed environment to exchange documents across platform easier, using the
same font.
