Hi Peter,
In Terminal did env and my PATH is /usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11/bin:
On my regular 10.6.6 machine it's
/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/git/bin:/usr/texbin:/usr/X11/bin
FWIW, my PATH on my Mac OSX 10.6.7 is :
PATH=/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/usr/local/mysql/bin/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/git/bin:/usr/X11/bin:/opt/local/bin
Bear in mind that I do have a load of MacPorts stuff installed, but I
can still manage to build LibO from master (when the tree isn't broken
anyway).
One thing I did realize when I first started out trying to build LibO on
Mac is that your PATH can get screwed up pretty easily by adding
software that decides to modify it without telling you, but then it
comes down to finding out which order of directories is the one that
will enable your system to continue to function correctly. I'm not
really sure why I've got two entries for /usr/local/bin in my PATH either...
