This functionality is not yet implemented in LibreOffice, but we would

For work-around to achieve this. In the menu bar go to:
Window | New window
You now have two independent windows of the same document. You can
alter their size to set them side-by-side or stacked. You can set
different zoom levels. You can work in different parts of the documents.
