I totally understand. TBH im totally looking forward to this
improvement. Hopefully this summer i can get my hands dirty with LO and
the GSoC android task at least helping with that.

But I hope people who aren't versed in this sort of stuff understand
that improving interop with other office suites is not just a matter of
understanding the file format, but there are other elements involved as
well. The fact that our interop is not perfect doesn't mean we are
sitting idle.
